The day area at Forgetmenot Pond in Bragg Creek is so worth the drive! The lake is beautifully clear with reflections dancing throughout it. As I walked the trail around the lake, the red kayak resting on the distant shore caught my eye. This watercolor landscape presents blue mountain peaks beneath a softly clouded sky, with layered foliage framing a quiet pond below. Reflections ripple through the water in cool blues, muted greens, and touches of gold, creating a serene sense of depth. The red kayak had to find a resting place among all these colors. Gentle washes and expressive brushwork lend the scene a dreamlike quality. It would bring a peaceful natural presence to a living room, bedroom, or creative space.
