Detached Droplets

Description

This abstract long-exposure photograph presents a waterfall in motion, with silvery water sweeping across the foreground against deep brown and amber tones. Fine trails of light and blurred movement convey the energy of the flowing current while preserving a sense of quiet. Its atmospheric composition brings depth and motion to a room, making it a thoughtful addition to your space.

Artist

Utilizing the often harsh climatic conditions of Western Norway, I create timeless, etheral works by observing forms and shapes of water. I do "slow photography"; letting motifs mature before capture, from rushing water to the calmness of a lakeshore after the first frost night.
