Description
The Four Housemen emerged from a quiet instinct rather than a fixed idea. I wanted the work to hold a sense of stillness and mystery, to feel as though it existed somewhere between remembrance and revelation. The dark forms became anchors — restrained, solemn, and enduring — while the colour behind them brought movement, depth, and atmosphere. What interests me most is the tension between presence and uncertainty, between what is seen and what is only felt. The piece was never intended to explain itself fully; instead, I wanted it to suggest something more elusive, more intimate. A place where emotion settles into form, and form begins to carry the weight of feeling. For me, it is a quiet reflection on endurance, shadow, and the beauty of what remains unresolved.
