The "This place looks cool where is this?" question aside... I must say the communities... many as they may be aside, I do like the fresh locations and varierty photos often get. Keeps things interesting. Thanks for sharing Jim and welcome to the community.

Hi, Patrick! Thanks for the welcome! In this photo, I'm on the monorail platform at Epcot, capturing stills of the "beacons of magic" lights on Spaceship Earth.

Question for you Jim... do you ever catch any flack for pro gear+ tripod when shooting at Disney spots?

Generally, I haven't had a problem. I color within the lines of their stated policies (no selfie sticks, tripod max height of 6', collapsed tripod must fit inside a standard backpack). I tend to arrive in my shooting locations early so other guests see what they can expect. Policies do differ at international parks. Disneyland Paris just updated their policies to prohibit professional gear and tripods. But I've taken serious gear on attractions too. This works as long as you keep hands, arms, and cameras inside the vehicle at all times ;-).

I dont want to give away trade secrets... but we have an ASF photog that has killed it selling photos from inside the parks.

Its a DIE HARD niche.

There are so many adults that never grow up, buy their weight in disney merch, and make going to the parks their vocation.

Its a solid niche!
