I don’t think there are any disciplines that intimidate me bc I’ve jumped into so so so many disciplines over the years that I have a good amount of confidence, and know that I can figure out any discipline I’m set on figuring out if I put the time into it.
There are however disciplines that I don’t prefer, don’t have the patience for, or am just really not drawn to doing myself— like photorealistic drawing and painting. I appreciate and admire that sort of work when I see it specifically bc it is so outside the realm of what I want to spend my time on learning and doing so the fact that others can focus in that way, and choose to do that sort of work fascinates me.
