Hello!
Hi fellow fiber artists! I’ve been a life-long sewist and designer of clothing. I was working fairly successfully sewing clothing made from vintage linens and quilts and initially set up my ASF site with three equal parts: 1. my handmade clothing, 2. children’s illustration and 3. abstract art. But this past Christmas season just about wore me out with clothing commissions. I guess that’s a good thing, but sewing is quite hard on the body. I’ve recently made the decision to relegate that part of my art career back to “hobby” status. A bit sad about it, but the illustration and abstract art - frankly - are less taxing physically and bring in more income. Anyone else have tough decisions like this due to energy levels?
