Raspberry Condos on Mocha Heights 2025 - Mylar Film with Acrylic & Enamel

Out of a recent painting came a story all on it's own. While using the wet-on-wet technique with many paint types on the surface, each layer introduced another component that I integrated into each other to form this piece. My reaction once finished was a multi-storied residential tower looming out of a foggy evening with melting snow on a plateau just outside of a nearby city. The title name suggests confections as the building materials due to their similarities in colors and textures yet in a whimsical way.
