Soul Mates: Eternal Architecture!
Artist’s Description: Wainer Guimarães
This piece explores the metaphysical intersection of two spirits—an older man and a younger woman—whose connection transcends the linear constraints of time and age. Through a dense layering of digital abstraction, I seek to visualize the "Twin Soul" (Almas Gêmeas) dynamic, not as a physical meeting, but as a spiritual homecoming.
The composition is anchored by soaring, overlapping arches that evoke the interior of a sanctuary or castle. This choice of imagery is intentional: it represents the fortress of privacy and mutual protection that soul mates build around themselves. In a world that often measures relationships by external metrics, this "castle" stands as a refuge where only the resonance of the spirit matters.
Visually, the work plays with a dialogue between depth and luminosity:
The earthy, saturated tones represent the "older" soul—a foundation of wisdom, stability, and the rich texture of lived experience.
The vibrant teals and radiant whites represent the younger soul—the spark of curiosity, the light of renewal, and the energy of the "now."
The vertical symmetry suggests that while their earthly ages differ, their spiritual frequencies are identical. They are two halves of a whole, creating a structure that is both ancient and ever-renewing. This work is a tribute to the idea that love is an alchemy of the ages—a sanctuary where the wisdom of the past and the vitality of the present become one. When one finds the other they know it’s final destiny.
