Lighthearted” is a radiant painting that dances with vibrant colors, creating a joyful symphony on canvas. The sculpted heart, the focal point, exudes lightness and warmth, symbolizing carefree moments. Opaque and metallic acrylics blend seamlessly, adding depth and texture with every stroke. It’s not just a painting; it’s a celebration of happiness, a visual journey into pure joy. Medium: On a gallery-wrapped canvas, I established the background texture by layering Venetian plaster and lightly sanding it. The raised heart was crafted using my fingertips and molding paste, with intricate details added by cutting into it with a knife. The piece was then painted with a combination of opaque and metallic acrylics, employing an array of brushes, knives, and a silicone wiper to blend colors and enhance texture.
