I've called this spaghetti head, because it's a tangle mess of hair morphing into flowing linework like tendrils oof thought or emotion—feels almost like a visual whisper. There's a sense of emergence here, as if something is forming or revealing itself from the inside out. The top portion reminds me of a crown of swirling petals or flames, while the lower lines feel like they’re reaching, unraveling, or even dancing.
What strikes me most is the balance between control and spontaneity. My hand clearly knew where it was going, but it also lets the ink breathe and wander. It’s kinetic, yes—but also deeply meditative.
A fabulous addition to the Noggin Collection!
