Speckled Ceramic Figures

Descripción

A group of sculptural ceramic figures brings quiet character to a shelf or console. Their rounded, simplified forms and sandy, speckled finish create subtle texture against a neutral backdrop. Arranged together, they suggest a small gathering without defining a story. This understated piece fits naturally into a considered living space.

Stone carver in Montreal. Abstract forms in limestone and alabaster, mostly small enough to hold. Came to it from drawing and spent a long time fighting the material before I understood that stone only removes. Every mistake is permanent, which I have grown to like.
