Lily is a portrait on the edge between mask and woman.
Her hair burns in orange and red, crowned by a bright headpiece, while the face stays almost white, drawn with strong black lines and deep red lips. The eyes are dark and direct, intense enough to feel like they’re reading you.
Around her, strokes of green, blue and shadow break and dissolve into the background, so that only her presence remains – raw, theatrical, a little wild. It is painted with acrylics, airbrush and palette knife on thick paper, letting the texture carry the emotion of the moment she appeared.
