Evenings have a way of softening the world, and "In the Gloaming" is my tribute to that gentle transition. The blend of pinks and greens here is meant to evoke the hush that falls over my quiet pond at dusk. I love how the textures and depth invite you to linger and reflect. When I made this painting, I thought it was far too dark, but I left it to dry and the moodiness of the reds and greens are perfect for an evening reflection on gratitude.
