Shot on the road connecting Las Vegas, NV with Phoenix, AZ, a rare capture with a sunset and rain over the valley and rolling hills. A truly peaceful scene with tons of detail. You can get lost in this image. Shot just before sunset, this image features warm yellows and oranges of the sun, as it streams through the various cloud layers and rain falling from the sky. Check out my other image, shot just after sunset which features blue and magenta colors with the warm yellows and oranges for a different, yet very similar look. - I captured this one using a Sony A7R series camera, noted for its high resolution, via a panoramic stacking method, where I stacked 43 unique images to create this single image. Each individual image was carefully shot in the field, swing around the cameras nodal point to overlap images. I then combined all 43 images into one maser image in photoshop with a uniquely high resolution, carefully aligning the frames to match. This method allows me to capture a very high amount of detail that cannot be captured in any other method, and allowing me to capture wide vistas without distortion from the camera system or lens. In the end, this is what it would look like if you were standing there - no lens trickery, just a full field view of the Arizona desert. I highly recommend that if you have the room, hang the 8 foot version of this photo on your wall. You can see multiple mountain ranges, Individual branches on the tumbleweeds, and rocks on the road.
Capturando la belleza salvaje del suroeste y los misterios del cielo nocturno—una fotografía inmersiva a la vez.
