Titled "Let’s Not Forget Ukraine", this piece is a heartfelt reflection on the ongoing struggle in Ukraine, inspired by their brave resilience amid an unjust invasion at the hands of Russia. Measuring 39 by 24 inches, I was drawn to abstract blocks of blue, yellow, and red… While the blue and yellow nod to Ukraine's flag, the red in the composition symbolizes the harsh reality of what's at stake. In creating this work, my goal was to capture the energy and urgency of this moment, a reminder that we must not turn a blind eye to such profound and horrific events shaping our world.
