I have produced many images of old 1920s Flapper images. Have always been accepted well. I saw this image immediately drawn to the completed black and white composition. Multiple effects I was intrigued to try to create. Fell in love with her as I worked through this thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't know until half way through her name was Myrna Darby. A distant relative perhaps. I joke. Was a pleasure to bring Myrnas image back to life. Took a long time to produce.
Graphite 9b stick and ground graphite back ground. Jacksons 8b pencil for more intricate work. On fabriano paper.
