Walnut Stools

Description

“Walnut Stools” presents two simple wooden seats against a pale wall, their warm grain set off by cool gray curtains and concrete flooring. Soft natural light brings out the wood’s texture and the stools’ sturdy, angled legs. Its quiet contrast and clean lines make a considered addition to a living room, dining area, or studio.

Artist

Woodworker in Portland, Maine. Small furniture and carved pieces, mostly hand tools because the noise of a router puts me off. Spent two years making wobbly stools before I learned to cut a joint that actually closed. Still humbled by end grain.
