Sunrise Surprise
One morning in Yellowstone, I was on one of my many photography journeys. I happened to see this Grizzly bear meandering in a meadow by Lake Yellowstone. I watched it graze in the grasses, climb on fallen trees possibly looking for small rodents for breakfast. Then it changed direction and headed my way. I quickly got down on its level and photographed a series of shots before retreating to my truck. When you lock eyes with a Grizzly bear, it’s an unnerving experience that one will never forget.
