I’m often drawn to moments that feel as though they could slip away if not noticed—the small pauses in nature where nothing is announcing itself, yet everything feels complete. In A Moment to Remain, I wanted to create an image that preserves that sense of emotional quiet: a bird at rest, blossoms lingering, and the space between them holding more meaning than any single element alone. The simplicity of the scene and the rich painterly background removes any sense of urgency or narrative. What remains is a feeling—an invitation to slow down, to breathe, and to stay with the moment a little longer than we normally allow ourselves. This piece is less about observation and more about presence, about honoring those fleeting instances that reward us simply for remaining still and and lingering just a bit longer..
