✨ UROZHAINYTSIA (УРОЖАЙНИЦЯ) ✨
acrylic on canvas | 80×60 cm | March 2026
The last guardian in my TINI RODU series.
For me, she is the one who brings abundance — the part of a woman that creates, nurtures, and gathers the fruits of her labor.
She lifts her face upward, open to wind and light, as fields bend around her.
The plants behind her carry the meaning of harvest and life:
• Ears of grain for fertility and the earth’s blessing,
• Poppies for beauty and the fragile nature of life,
• Marigolds for love of home and native land.
The deep red and golden threads across her face speak of life force and abundance — red for vitality and joy, gold for harvest and the richness of the earth.
Her embroidery of grain continues this story, a symbol of prosperity, continuity, and the land that sustains us.
In this series, each guardian reflects one side of a woman’s inner world.
Urozhainytsia is the one who gathers what has been sown — the part that knows how to grow, create, and bring life into fullness.
