I shoot with a digital camera and convert many images into black and white. Some are manipulated to vibrant colors that invite reflection. My work celebrates history, nature, and the simple beauty found in both urban and natural worlds.

I started taking black and white film photos when I bought my first really good camera, a Nikkormat by Nikon in 1969. I still enjoy taking black & white film pictures of Americana subjects. I love the 3-d quality of film along with the details and the grain.
