Beschreibung
The rocky island of Skrúður rises steeply from the sea just east of Fáskrúðsfjörður. Nearby is a flat, small island and skerries named Andey and Æðarsker. Inside Skrúður itself are two huge caves, where people stayed during the hunting season. People collected eggs and hunted birds on the island and still do today, and there are, among other things, two hundred thousand puffin pairs living there.
