Beschreibung
This remarkable migratory bird travels the farthest of all birds, about 70,000 km each year. It therefore experiences two summers each year. The French hospital in Hafnarnes can also be seen in the picture. It was recently returned to its original location in Búðir in Fáskrúðsfjörður.
