Sculpted for speed and unmistakably bold, the Lotus Esprit Turbo is a true icon of 1980s automotive design.
With this new artwork, I set out to capture the car’s unmistakable silhouette with minimalist precision, allowing Giorgetto Giugiaro’s sharp lines and wedge profile to speak for themselves.
Inspired by the Esprit’s memorable appearance in 1981’s For Your Eyes Only, this piece presents the car as seen later in the film—its striking Copper Fire Metallic paintwork accented by vivid gold details and rendered with authentic touches, such as the BBS alloy wheels, ski rack, precise badging, and the correct number plate.
The Esprit is set against the snowy peaks of Cortina d'Ampezzo, the dramatic backdrop for the film’s thrilling ski chase.
