“A Whale of a Time” was painted from a place of pure joy.
As I worked on this piece, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of childlike wonder… the kind that fills the room and makes everything feel lighter. While many pieces in this collection brought a sense of calm, this one felt different, it overflowed with energy, movement, and joy.
There’s something so freeing about the whale breaking through the surface, simply being itself, uncontained and alive.
It’s a gentle invitation to let go, to release what you’re holding onto, and to allow yourself to fully experience joy… to laugh, to move, and to simply have a whale of a time.
