Collection: Private Collection Availability: Not for Sale About the Piece In Cyra’s Inferno, I wanted to capture the precise moment of transformation where heat becomes light and destruction turns into a new beginning. This piece is my interpretation of a phoenix rising, not just from ash, but from the intense, swirling energy of an internal fire. I chose a deep black canvas to act as a void, allowing the crimsons, magentas, and violets to explode outward with maximum impact. To achieve the organic, molten textures in the wings, I used fluid acrylic techniques, encouraging the paint to "cell" and lace in ways that mimic flowing lava and cooling embers. After the initial pour, I went back into the piece with fine gold metallic linework. These delicate "sparks" provide a sense of structure and intention, tracing the heat as it radiates from the bird’s core. For me, this painting represents the beauty found in the heat of the moment—the strength required to burn brightly and the grace of emerging from the flames whole. Details Medium: Fluid Acrylic and Metallic Ink on Canvas Theme: Rebirth, Resilience, and the Elemental Power of Fire Personal Note: This work remains in a private collection as a cornerstone of my Inferno series.
