I love finding those quiet places that fall along the wayside where hurried travelers often miss. Crawfish Creek runs through the southern entrance of Yellowstone. Many miss this as they are in a hurry to get into the park, perhaps to "see something else." It's a spot worth just sitting down by the waters edge and watching the world hurry by, while time seems to stand still.
The bridge itself tells a story of the journey of hundreds of millions of travelers. Folks who took for granted the fact that it simply has been. That bridge has allowed safe passage for those too hurried to even realize the service it offers. You may say, "it's just one bridge." But without it, the journey ends. How many have passed this way and didn't even give a second thought to the service that this bridge offered?
