Rounding the bluffs at Makapu'u reveals a stunning view looking up the windward coast of Oahu. The strong updrafts along these cliffs have long been the playground for those spirits who love to soar! If I wasn't playing in the surf down below that cliff, I was on the beach marveling at these gravity defying acrobats who would entertain me for hours.
