Abstract Echoes is an abstract mixed-media work created using oil, cold wax, and collage. The surface is shaped through a process of accumulation and interruption, where layers of material are laid down, partially erased, and reworked, allowing residual marks to remain present within the final composition.
Muted tonal fields and restrained gestures create a sense of quiet rhythm and pause. Vertical elements act as subtle anchors within the space, suggesting traces, boundaries, or remembered forms rather than fixed structures. As with the earlier works in this series, the painting holds a dialogue between presence and absence, concealment and revelation.
The work continues an exploration of memory and material history, where surfaces operate as repositories of experience. What remains visible is not a single moment, but an echo of multiple decisions and gestures, embedded within the layered skin of the painting.
