Though the town itself is no longer there, the spirit of the community lives on, preserving the past so that it can be shared with the future. This John Haskell designed school building began welcoming students in 1872, but was closed in 1949. Listed now on the National Register of Historic places, it welcomes visitors to enjoy its proud heritage.
