This is one of my larger drawings measuring 12" X 16". I wanted to capture a vivid illustration showcasing three lovely parrots perched against a backdrop of intricately detailed green mint leaves. I felt that the contrasting hues—bright blues, fiery reds, and vibrant yellows—express the birds' lively presence and natural beauty. It was a bold challenge and one that I hoped would show how my dedication to detail could reveal the rich textures of feathers and foliage, giving way to a moment of quiet observation in nature. This piece is a bold yet harmonious piece that would bring energy and color to any space.
