I argued with the Ancestors about the title of this piece because "the Sacred Dreaming" is not proper English. They were adamant that I am not always right (and told me to get over myself) and that I might learn a thing or two from adapting to their language! They came to me in a strong, united voice as I created the inspiration of this piece in my dream state. After hearing their words as the were chanting to me in my dream, here is what I transcribed: "The Sacred Dreaming, is the spiritual dwelling place of the Ancestors. It is a world that timelessly connects what we understand as the past, present and future." I believe it is where I sacredly connect to the voices of the past, the divine spirits of all our Ancestors.
