My daughter and me collaborated on the Sita's Fire Trilogy. It is based on the ancient story of the Ramayana. This sceen depicts Queen Kaykei saving King Dasaratha on the battle fiield. Watercolor and ink.

Thank you. Appreciate. It was more or less a trial and error piece. Yes, scenes from a battlefield are dynamic. I solved the issue with showing the whole battlefield by using textures with salt at the bottom. This is my first battle field scene. Ramayana is an ancient epic and, like many epics, there are battle scenes. It was a challenge for sure to figure out the composition.
