Beschreibung
This painting explores the quiet dialogue between light and matter — between the reflective surface of metal and the muted softness of porcelain. The composition presents three vessels: two delicate porcelain cups and a single silver one, arranged loosely against a dark, textured background. The brushwork is expressive and layered, allowing the objects to emerge from the darkness rather than simply rest upon it.
The work isn’t about stillness alone, but about contrast — fragility beside strength, opacity beside reflection. I was drawn to the way light behaves differently across each surface, and how an ordinary moment of observation can reveal something quietly human within these inanimate forms.
Kindly note that the painting is not yet varnished at the time of purchase. I will varnish it before shipping, and the drying process takes a few days.
Before purchasing, I would appreciate it if you could get in touch with me to arrange the details personally.
