I shot this on an overcast afternoon while walking home in the cold air of my hometown. The rusted imperfections stood out to me — broken and holding together in their random placement across the field. Dead flowers wrapped around the wire and, despite everything, it looked beautiful. Rustweed Horizon portrays a late-autumn scene where dried seedheads weave through rusted wire; the layered lines and muted tones convey a quiet passage of time.
