I am not artist and yet this space still gives me envy.... space, organization.... I feel more productive just looking at it.

Its hard to get it looking tidy for a studio tour, but I like it messy. So does Ashes the cat.

What a great messy studio! Looks like heaven! Love your helper too! Does he every leave paint paws around?

So far not--I wouldn't mind since I thought it might add some extra texture but she NEVER knocks anything over or steps in the paint.

She critiques my work very well. She loves to sit in front of a fire. When I did a painting of Campfire pots she would not leave my chair staring at it--hypnotized--It made me feel like I'd nailed it.

Her name is ashes but she could be called ghost since she seems to blend with everything.
