Contacting AH members

Hi...a tech question: I've noticed on the community posts, that if someone replies to my post, I there's no reply button (2 layers deep) so when I feel it's important to connect after their reply, I've tried using the contact form on Art Helper>Artists pages to connect more personally with a member artist, but each time, I get a message saying it (the message) didn't go through or wasn't deliverable. What am I missing?
