I've done that a few times with people I traveled with, trying to catch different sides of them. It's a strange thing when you realize you're painting the same face but chasing completely different moments each time. The emotional pull shifts even though the features stay the same.

A series like that becomes a study of what friendship actually looks like when you're paying attention. The repetition lets you get past the surface and find what keeps showing up underneath.
