Prelim of new painting. Almost done. Got the sink to do and the usual tweaks. I'm loving this painting!

Thanks Sherri. The sink is checkerboard. I want one for my kitchen! It’s a kitchen inside the living space of a very old windmill in Kinderdijk in the Netherlands. I LOVED the light!

Great looking even not quite done. Such an unusual scene and perspective- but it's those complex blues in the countertop and strainer that pull me in!
Thank you. You brought to my attention again about the blues. Too much I think. I need to add a red/purple to the shadows to emphasize the sink more.

oh but I LIKE those blues!!!
I do too, but I think some very dark (almost black) rust red/purple in the shadows would add depth. Won't mess with the blues in the highlights. It's good contrast with the yellows/golds in the background.
