Hey Maja! Figures, masks, symbols, honestly that's the material worth chasing. The identity-and-memory angle is the whole game. Where are you working from in Whitby, studio or home setup?
That bold color approach pulls me right in. I work mostly in floral close-ups, so my palette tends toward what nature gives me, but I've always admired painters who can build those saturated choices deliberately. The masks and symbols angle sounds like you're working through layers I don't often think about in my own practice. Looking forward to seeing what you share here.
