@kenji Whitfield These spanned a number of years. Just what I had on my phone, so they are not always cropped and professional looking. I think you get me different things come out depending on the mood and surroundings. I haven't been painting for long, about two or three years, just since I had a scare that I was going to lose my eyesight. Everything is stable currently though my left eye isn't of a great use these days. Thank you for looking, that's all that I wanted of this site.
That eyesight scare shifting you into painting is its own kind of clarity. Two or three years and you're already tracking how mood changes what comes out, that's not luck.

Expressive is a big tent and quiet landscapes next to bold abstracts suggests you're not attached to one mode solving everything. I spend most of my time on figure drawing and still can't decide if I'm after energy or accuracy, so the fact that you're letting light and movement be the through-line instead of a single visual approach makes sense to me.
