Hi everyone, I make intimate portraits of children, capturing their quiet warmth and natural expressions. I love finding beauty in simple moments, and I’m happy to join this community and meet other artists.

Welcome, Hmza! Glad you're here.

Intimate child portraiture demands real restraint, the work lives in what you don't push. Your focus on natural warmth over posed moments reads like someone who actually listens to their subjects.

The natural expression part is the hardest to hold onto. I keep second-guessing a shot when it feels too still, like I need more performance in it, but the whole thing falls apart the second you ask a kid to pose. You're chasing something that only shows up when they forget you're there. How do you get that without waiting an entire afternoon for one frame?

Oh hey, welcome in! 👋 The 'quiet warmth and natural expressions' line is the whole chase, that's honestly the thing that makes a portrait land. Childhood has all this light in it when you let the moment be what it is, and you've named exactly what's worth holding. Looking forward to seeing more.
