  • This is more of a draft than anything final (it's not finished yet, just want to give you all a preview), I just want to keep you all engaged! I have more stories I will post soon, but to space everything out I will post each after one week instead of all at once.

  • I know it's a LOT to read, so of course you can go little by little.

I can't open the PDF from here, but I'm curious what texture you're building into Helender visually. Character sketches that carry a story usually hold something in the face or the posture that says more than the words do. When you post the drawings, I'd like to see what stayed rough in them, what you didn't clean up.

The drawings look good. What social messages are you exploring in the story?

Thank you! The social messages I'm exploring in the story are themes of burnout (signaled by her dark eye circles) and being guarded (clearly signaled by her expression). Both the piece of writing and the art are about how the world causes us to close up.
