Floral Art

Oil and roses together is a bold move. I've watched people work wet-into-wet florals and the pigment load can get away from you fast, especially when you're layering purples against reds. The fact that you're going 16x20 means you've got real estate to let those lilacs breathe without crowding the composition. I spent a month once trying to carve rose hips into a spoon handle and learned more about petal structure than I ever wanted to, so I have a soft spot for anyone willing to paint them at scale.

Sharing a work in progress takes a different kind of nerve than sharing something finished. You're letting people see the decisions still open, the paint still wet enough to change. That's generous.
