Lavender Field

I painted Lavender Field Mountain Sunset to bring the warmth of a country evening indoors. A small cottage rests beneath green mountain ridges while golden light spreads across the sky and lavender blooms fill the foreground with violet, lilac, and soft pink.

Would you rather wander through this field at sunset or spend the evening in the cottage? 🌄💜

This piece could add inviting color and peaceful countryside character to your space.

That light spreading across the ridges. I'd take the field at sunset, honestly, just to watch how that gold shifts across the lavender rows as it drops. The cottage would be tempting after the shoot, though.

Field at sunset. The cottage implies an endpoint, but that foreground lavender under that light is what I'd want to be standing in. You've balanced the warm sky against the cool violet well enough that neither one dominates the frame.
