This was created from a photo of my original mixed media piece 'On the Prowl ' I was trying to show the fragility of these beautiful animals as they decline in number.

The title carries that weight. You're showing something that's already half-disappeared, and the ghost framing makes the fragility hit harder than just calling it conservation work.

I've sketched a lot of fleeting moments, but you've captured something harder here. The fragility comes through without feeling forced, like the image itself is slipping away. That layered approach with the photo of the original piece adds another dimension to it.
