The light on the water pulls me in. I shot a series of wetland reeds last spring and spent most of my time waiting for that same kind of shimmer, the way it changes everything.

Colorado light on water photographs differently than almost anywhere else I've shot. Something about the canyon walls holding the warmth even when the air's cool.
