Fragments is right. I've been thinking about that word since I read it, how it names what happens when you work with something as quick as light or as slow as metal cooling. You hold one part of the thing at a time and trust the rest will come together later.

That title alone sits with me, fragments is exactly how night shooting feels sometimes. You chase a whole, but you're working with pieces: the moment the core rises, the window before the moon washes it out, the one clear patch in a long drive. I'm curious what pulled you to this frame, was it the light, or something about how the space felt in that moment?
