The tonal control here is really solid. What stands out to me is how you've kept the jewelry and clothing texture distinct without letting them compete with her face, which takes real restraint in a monochrome piece. The hand placement gives the whole thing a candid quality even though the lighting setup is clearly deliberate.

The black background doing all that lifting is what sells it for me. When I strip a portrait down like that, I'm always second-guessing whether the face alone can hold the frame, but here the tonal range in her expression and the jewelry gives it enough contrast to breathe.
