Best in Show in black and white means the tones carried it. No color to lean on, just what the light gave you.
Thank you, it was a stunning view at the art gallery and when I saw it on the wall it was impressive, it had a wow factor and so enjoyable to see it in that setting.
Best in Show is the real deal. Eight years on and you're still proud enough to share it, which tells me it meant something. Takes a lot to stand out in black and white when composition and light are everything.
I am proud of this image, I've photographing from this view point many times as I'm driving back home from Reno. And I'm proud it was best in show with 65 other great artist, and mostly painters. It was a beautiful show and proud to be a part of a Artist Community.
Welcome! Great to see you here.
A best in show win eight years back says something real about the work. Those kinds of recognitions stick because the piece earned it.
